Files on CD will not run due to unsupported disk media.

Cause:

CD-ROM drive cannot read CD-R disk media.

Solution:

Some older CD-ROM drives cannot read the gold or blue-green colored data surface of a CD-R. Refer to the CD-ROM user's manual, or contact next-level support, or the manufacturer of the CD-ROM.
